Ingredients
Cooked long grain rice- 3 cups
Lemon juice-5 tbsp
Green chilli- 4
Chilli flakes - 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder- 1/4 tsp
Roasted peanuts- 2 tbsp ( optional)
Corainder leaves- 1 tbsp
Salt- to taste
For tempering
Oil- 3tbsp
Mustard- 1/4 tsp
Urad dhal- 1tsp
Gram dhal- 1 tbsp
Curry leaves- few
Asafoetida- 2 pinches
Method
- In a pan heat oil and do the tempering.
- Add green chillies, chilli flakes and turmeric powder.
- Add the lemon juice and bring to a boil.
- Remove from heat and add the lemon juice mix to the cooked rice.
- Add salt and mix well. If adding peanuts, add it to the rice.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
Serve the rice with potato chips.
