Chicken Tikka


Ingredients
Chicken- 1 lb skinless, boneless
Yogurt- 1 cup
Ginger garlic paste- 1tbsp
Chili powder- 1tbsp
Garam masala- 1 tsp 
Lime juice- 1 tsp
Kasoori methi(dried methi leaves)- 1tsp
Lemon wedges- 4

Method

  1. In a bowl, add all the ingredients except chicken and lemon wedges. Blend well.
  2. Cut chicken into cubes and add to the marinade.Cover and refrigerate overnight. Soak the wooden skewers in water.
  3. Preheat oven at 400 degrees.
  4. Arrange the chicken in skewers, leaving some space in between the pieces. 
  5. Cover a cookie tray with aluminium foil and place the skewers.Bake in the middle rack for 15-20 minutes.
  6. Remove from oven and  brush the chicken with butter. Butter gives good flavor and color to the chicken.
  7. Put the oven in broil and cook the chicken for additional 5 minutes.
  8. Remove from oven and serve warm with mint chutney.

The chicken should not be cooked for longer time as it becomes very dry.
