Ingredients
Chicken- 1 lb skinless, boneless
Yogurt- 1 cup
Ginger garlic paste- 1tbsp
Chili powder- 1tbsp
Garam masala- 1 tsp
Lime juice- 1 tsp
Kasoori methi(dried methi leaves)- 1tsp
Lemon wedges- 4
Method
- In a bowl, add all the ingredients except chicken and lemon wedges. Blend well.
- Cut chicken into cubes and add to the marinade.Cover and refrigerate overnight. Soak the wooden skewers in water.
- Preheat oven at 400 degrees.
- Arrange the chicken in skewers, leaving some space in between the pieces.
- Cover a cookie tray with aluminium foil and place the skewers.Bake in the middle rack for 15-20 minutes.
- Remove from oven and brush the chicken with butter. Butter gives good flavor and color to the chicken.
- Put the oven in broil and cook the chicken for additional 5 minutes.
- Remove from oven and serve warm with mint chutney.
The chicken should not be cooked for longer time as it becomes very dry.
