Ingredients
Vermicelli- 2 cups
Whole milk- 4 cups
Condensed milk- 1 cup
Sugar- 1 cup
Cashews- 6
Raisins- 1tbsp
Ghee- 1+ 1tbsp(clarified butter)
Method
- In a heavy bottom vessel, melt 1tbsp of ghee and fry the cashews. Drain and set it aside.
- In the same pan add the vermicelli and roast till golden brown.
- Add milk to the pan and bring to a boil. When the milk boils, reduce the flame to low heat and keep stirring until the vermicelli is cooked.
- Add the condensed milk and sugar* and stir until all the sugar is dissolved.
- Remove from heat and garnish with fried cashews and raisins.
* Taste for sweetness and increase sugar if needed, condensed milk also has sugar in it.
